Mariam - Founder and Team Leader

Mariam got into this business and grew it naturally. Renting her personal apartment while she studied, and worked abroad was the starting point. She continued to rent it out - once she was back to Tbilisi - and in the process, she found great enjoyment in meeting people from all around the world, helping expats and visitors to enjoy their stay in Georgia. The business grew naturally as she expended her own rental properties and in the process, got interest from other property owners to manage their real estate assets. Her natural love of both creating a comfortable space and providing an outstanding guest experience are the key driving force behind the Second Home. Before venturing into real estate, Mariam worked for the Georgian Government, for international organisations, and for a non-profit sector.

Rusudan - Administration, Workflow Management

This lady is the powerhouse behind Second Home Georgia's seamless operations and impeccable workflow. With a diverse background in administrative processes, Rusudan has made her mark on various Georgian organizations, including national museums and private companies. Her leadership has been instrumental in preserving and showcasing national treasures housed in Georgian museums, earning her a reputation for reliability and trustworthiness.

At Second Home Georgia, Rusudan keeps the property rental process organized and efficient, ensuring accountability to owners and a commitment to guests. 

Beyond her administrative prowess, Rusudan's educational background in art history adds a unique dimension to her role. Her insights are invaluable when it comes to designing and staging our Airbnb homes, ensuring that every space tells a story and captivates guests.

Tata - Financial Support, Guest Relations

Meet Tata, our finance whiz with a knack for managing financial operations in small and medium-sized hospitality businesses. With over a decade of experience, she's worn many hats, from deputy director to chief specialist in various finance departments. Tata's the go-to for preparing financial reports for property owners, keeping cash flow in check, analyzing investments, and ensuring compliance with company finances. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Global Economics from Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics, and Computer Science.

Tata's not just about numbers and spreadsheets — she's known for her warm and helpful nature, making her pleasant to speak to and reassuring even in the most challenging situations. That's why she wears another beautiful hat: the one that allows her to deal with guests and tenants. She's the kind of person you want on your team, bringing multiple skills, expertise, and a friendly vibe to the table.

Tamuna - Sales & Marketing, Guest Relations

Tamuna is Second Home Georgia's hospitality, sales, and marketing guru. Her journey began at Novotel Hotel in Moscow, where she held roles ranging from Reservation Agent to Acting Deputy Director of Sales and Marketing. Here, at Second Home Georgia, we rely on her for resolving customer issues, setting pricing plans, and providing insights on improving services for future property owners. In her past role as a rental department manager, Tamuna excelled in maintaining a tenant base for a large shopping center and managing rental agreements. We like to leverage on that experience, and she is our go-to resource for rental-related matters. Tamuna also has a rare talent for presenting complex information in a transparent and concise manner, making her an asset in interactions with property owners, tenants, and potential partners. 

Tamuna's career includes impactful stints at multinational corporations like Johnson & Johnson Vision and GlaxoSmithKline, where she conducted market analyses. Again, she uses that for the benefit of Second Home Georgia when we need to know more than an average hospitality business should. Recently, Tamuna decided to move back to Georgia and make it her eternal home. She loves to share its culture, hospitality, and beauty with visitors and investors from abroad.

Gela - Property Maintenance and Inspection

Meet Gela - our dedicated maintenance expert with a passion for keeping things running smoothly. With vast experience under his belt, Gela has honed his skills to perfection, making him an indispensable part of our team. Gela simply cannot stand a problem at a property and is so proactive that he earned a loving nickname among the Second Home Georgia team and property owners: “the most proactive Georgian guy”. From fixing leaky faucets to tackling complex electrical issues, there's no job too big or too small for him. Gela takes pride in his work, always ensuring that every task is completed with precision and care.

Gela’s favorite part of the job is the property inspection, where, as he says, he “kills problems while they are still invisible.” 

Known for his reliability and attention to detail, Gela also brings to the table something very important when it comes to property management: his background in law enforcement. As a former law enforcement system employee, he is very proficient in handling any unexpected situations such as bothersome neighbors, property safety considerations, and law compliance in general. We all rely on Gela and know that he will be there for our properties, our tenants, our property owners, and for our entire team.

Joseph - Procurement, Delivery, Transportation 

Joseph plays a vital role at Second Home, ensuring our apartments are well-equipped and our staff can move between properties seamlessly. His background includes working with various local and international organizations, including the British Oxfam, where he excelled in logistics as a driver. Joseph's expertise in procurement allows us to rely on him confidently to source and deliver necessary supplies to our cleaners and guests promptly and with a smile.

Having worked extensively in the Caucasus region and beyond, Joseph enjoys engaging with the guests from abroad, ensuring their needs are met swiftly. His dedication to driving and supplying has been pivotal in our business operations, and we are grateful for his hard work and commitment. Joseph truly is an essential part of the clockwork that keeps Second Home running smoothly.
